How to add a linked image to your signature template

Scenario

You are using Exclaimer and have created a signature template. You wish to add an image that is hosted externally, such as on Dropbox, Google Drive, or a company web server.

Resolution

Linked images are images that are stored on the web and displayed in your signature using a URL. For more information, on linked images, see embedded images vs linked images in signatures.

To add a linked image:

Open your signature template in the Signature Designer.
From the toolbox, expand the Image & Icons section.
Drag and drop the Image/Logo element onto the canvas.

This opens the Image/Logo window.

Select the New linked image radio button and enter the URL of the image in the Linked image URL entry field.
Tip! To add a dynamic linked image that changes with each user, see How to set linked images using custom fields.
Select OK to add your image to the signature, or select Cancel to return to the canvas without adding an image.
