Remove the Exclaimer setup App from Microsoft Entra

Description

As part of the setup process, Exclaimer installs various Azure apps; each app serves a specific purpose and is granted the minimum level of permissions required to fulfill its function.

It is important to remove the setup app to allow Exclaimer to have the right access to your tenant.

Removing the Exclaimer App from Microsoft Entra

To remove Exclaimer Apps from Microsoft Entra:

1. Log in to the Azure portal (https://portal.azure.com) as a Global Administrator.
   
2. Open Microsoft Entra ID then select Enterprise applications:

3. In the search box, type Exclaimer to filter the list of apps to only show the Exclaimer apps:

4. Select Exclaimer Cloud Setup - Please remove after setup.

5. On the left-hand side, under Manage, select Properties. Then from the Properties pane, select Delete to remove the selected app:

6. A message box is displayed, prompting you to confirm if you wish to delete the selected app.

7. Select Yes to delete.
